This is an exclusive unique property with plenty of privacy, wildlife and streams set on 250 acres. There is a main house with a swimming pool, open kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There is an adjacent guest house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. At 400 meters in elevation, the property has a regular breeze and almost no mosquitoes.
Toucans live in the trees around the house. It is not uncommon to see toucans daily. A wide array of wildlife lives in the property including white face and howler monkeys.
This property has many types of fruit trees and depending on when you're visiting, various fruits from the property are provided for your sampling.
Drinking water comes directly from our springs. It is then triple filtered through a reverse osmosis system. This results in the cleanest drinking water we've ever tasted.
We're in the process of adding a trail system to better allow wildlife viewing without the need for a machete and jungle gear. If you're ready for serious hiking and bring the appropriate gear, we can arrange a guide to take you through our pristine jungle to see what few people have the opportunity to see.

If you're looking for an isolated, yet elegant escape for your perfect holiday, this recently-built Jungle House will be ideal. Located in Escaleras on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica between Dominical and Uvita, where the mountains meet the ocean, this upscale, private residence offers all the amenities of a luxurious getaway.
The house was built by an American designer and is carefully nestled in the primary rainforest. The great room (as do most rooms) overlooks an infinity-edge pool and outdoor entertainment area. The large dining room area may be formally set for dinner or you may simply prefer to dine poolside surrounded by the jungle with a great view of the Pacific Ocean. All rooms in the Jungle House have sliding glass doors w/screens allowing sunlight to fill each space. The tongue-in-cheek treehouse is totally open-air with it's rancho-style, thatched roof. In the 'green season', the stream and waterfall on this side of the property may be faintly heard to put you to sleep.
Comfortably sleeping 8 people, the Jungle House features a new kitchen that is modernly equipped with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge w/icemaker, gas range, cookware and cutlery. The second bedroom in the master suite doubles as an office/den and overlooks a hibiscus flowering garden. Most guests prepare some meals themselves and eat at local restaurants, however our House Manager can arrange for a local Tica to come to the house and prepare a typical, Costa Rican meal.
The Master Bedroom has a 180 degree view to the pool and out into the surrounding jungle. It features a local hardwood, inlaid floor, adjacent closet and French doors to a private terrace. The Master and Office Bedrooms have Queen beds and are air conditioned.  The MBR's walk-in closet is equipped with a dehumidifier. Evenings are normally a pleasant 76-78 deg. since the house is largely shaded.
Only 5 minutes from the nearest beach and 1.5 km up from the newly paved Costanera highway onto a private little road, you will routinely see whitefaced and howler monkeys, toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, sloths and a variety of other unusual wildlife, as this is about the only rental home in the area set within Primary Rainforest!
