Manuel Antonio Horseback Riding

Whether it is the stunning Tocori waterfalls year round, the private Tocori biological reserve, or our world famous Manuel Antonio beaches, let Don Gilberto and his family show you the real Costa Rica – on horseback.

Come and experience Costa Rica’s unique flora and fauna, it’s rare medicinal herbs, it’s breathtaking landscapes, exotic and savory Tico style treats, and a beautiful, highly-educated family of guides and naturalists who will take you and your guests on a journey in history and adventure on an unforgettable horseback expedition – any time of year.

All our tours include several hours of riding through special trails with stunning vistas and scenery, and include well-earned stops to savor and enjoy the tastes, flavors and multi-sensory experiences of this beautiful land.  As eco-stewards and community leaders if the Quepos / Manuel Antonio area, let Don Gilberto, his daughter Dyala, and their family host you and your guests on an unforgettable and uniquely Costa Rican experience.

Tour 1 - Tocori Waterfalls Horseback Riding

Enjoy learning about Costa Rica’s exotic plants and rare wildlife as you ride through the tropical jungle and private ecological reserve at Tocori, just minutes away from Manuel Antonio. [+ info]

Tour 2 - Beach Horseback Riding

Once they pick you up the adventure in history, beauty and nature begins, as you learn first hand about Costa Rica’s exotic plants and bio-diverse wildlife while you ride through the tropical jungle and head towards our world-class beaches – just minutes away from Manuel Antonio. [+ info]

But you have to decide how do you want to experience the true Costa Rica – at the Tocori biological corridor with the endangered Mono Titi, OR at our internationally famous Manuel Antonio beaches?  The choice is yours, and if you can’t make up your mind, then let us host you on both tours.

Enjoy, but leave changed, and leave to possibly help change this delicate tropical rain forest and beach ecosystem for the better.  And after letting Don Gilberto and his Iguana Tours’ family host you and your guests, you will have grown in your experience and knowledge of our beautiful and unforgettable tropical country, Costa Rica.  But as Don Gilberto always says, “When you come back, you will have a friend.”

Tips

·        Come prepared for adventure

·        Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes that can get wet while riding

·        Bring or wear a bathing suit, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a towel

·        Don’t forget your camera or binoculars, but be advised that they might get wet

·        Please leave your valuables at your hotel or in the security van

·        Be surprised to learn about Costa Rica’s tropical rain forest, the endangered Mono Titi or squirrel monkey, and exotic medicinal plants and herbs indigenous to our community

·        Be prepared to get wet and ride at a leisurely pace for about 2 hours, so if you do not have long pants please bring a towel to sit on with the saddle.

Let us show you our country -
Just let us know when.
